I learnt a lot in the presentation about going online. I had yet to have my presentation and therefore knew little about the creation and development of websites and webpages. Using the program NVU gave me a lot of confidence in designing and developing webpages. Never before would I have even contemplated asking students to do this, but on a basic level I can see scope for the use of programs like this in the classroom.

Before this course, I too would have thought creating a website was far beyond what could be done with ICT in a primary school classroom. I was amazed at the range of programs available and the ease at which they could be used. So many people have created very impressive websites within this course, and I think the use of there programs, such as NVU and i-web will definitely be possible. I have recently even seen i-web being used within the classroom, with a year 6 class creating websites on the different planets in the solar system. They were enjoying creating this website and presenting their information in a different and exciting way.
